Although this beloved edition of Jameson has been discontinued, we’ve been fortunate enough to procure some bottles! Jameson 12-year-old boasts the classic pot still character synonymous with Jameson, along with the expected smoothness. Typically, the pot still content in standard Jameson ranges from 5 to 7 years old. However, with the 12-year-old expression, the additional aging imparts considerable depth and complexity. A heavier style of pot still whiskey is utilized, and a significant portion is aged in sherry casks, exceeding the norm for the standard bottling. The result is a whiskey that bridges the gap between standard blends and the richer single pot still whiskeys from Jameson.
